SATURDAY PENNANTS
Games are played every Saturday (with some exceptions) from October
to March.
The Victor Harbor Bowling Club (VHBC) participates in these matches which are managed by the Great Southern Bowling Association (GSBA).
This year there are six Divisions. VHBC has two sides in the First Division and one in the Second, one in the Third and one in the Fifth (East) Division. Sides consisted of three Teams of four players. All players play two bowls.
Eligible Players: Any GSBA members as registered with the Association by the Club (unless there is a shortage of players – See the GSBA handbook for further details.)
Dress: Dress is the bowlers’ Bowling Club uniform.
Other facilities: The VHBC bar is usually open after each game.
The cost: The VHBC team’s entry fee for each day of play is to be advised. Catering is the responsibility of each home Club. VHBC expects all players playing at home to provide sufficient food on the day to satisfy at least two players. Details of what food to bring on the day are shown on the Pennants Notice Board.
